Olympics

This week we read about the Winter Olympics since the 1920s. We had to summarise the information that we knew about what we read. What I found hard was choosing an app for my DLO and explaining the events in my own words. What I found interesting was getting to know more information about Winter Olympics. Next time I will improve by using a more interesting app. Where would you like the Olympics to be held next time?

    

Before Lent

This week we learnt about summarising information about Shrove Tuesday/Pancake Day using our own knowledge. Our task was to explain at least 5 facts that we learnt about Shrove Tuesday/Pancake Day. What I found hard was making my DLO interesting. What I found interesting was the facts about Pancake Day. Next time I will make my DLO better by adding quizzes.

Onomatopoeia Poem

WALT.. Use Onomatopoeia in poetry. Today we learnt about making a poem using specific Onomatopoeia words that comes from a firework. What I found hard was thinking of rhyming words. What I found easy was choosing Onomatopoeia words for my poem. Next time I will add more descriptive words.

Flew the popping stick over the moon

Crackle, Crack, Whoosh!

Going down to a bush

Pop, Pop! Piew, Piew!
